The NoLayingUp Betting System
Introduction
Welcome to theNoLayingUp betting system. If you’re new to betting, I highly recommend you first use NoLayingUp’s very helpful betting guide. This system was designed to allow both new and experienced bettors to create effective betting strategies for both historical and prop betting situations.
The main idea behind the system is to implement each basic strategy independently while retaining the ability to leverage these strategies to complete a bet that includes any or all of the basic strategies. Once the bet is complete, it is then possible to calculate win percentages for each of the basic strategies to allow you to compare the net win percentage of the bet. For example, let’s say the bet that you are making has the following three basic betting strategies built into it:
One: Chillin’ It
Two: Stayin’ Alive
Three: Rollin’ (Top 16 Picks)
In this example, you are wagering that the team that will win the Super Bowl this year is the Broncos (odds are +135 to win the Super Bowl). You also want to bet that the Patriots will win the Super Bowl this year (odds are +130 to win the Super Bowl). So you will wager $100 on both of these bets. This wager will involve the following strategies:
Chillin’ It – Like in the example above, you will be wagering $100 for the Patriots to win the Super Bowl this year.
Stayin’ Alive – Like in the example above, you will be wagering $100 for the Broncos to win the Super Bowl this year.
Rollin’ (Top 16 Picks) – Like in the example above, you will be wagering $100 for the Patriots to win the Super Bowl this year.
This wager will involve the following strategies:
The basic bet – The more complex version of the above bet would be wagering that the team that will win the Super Bowl will have the best record in the league (which means it will have the best record in both the regular season and the playoffs). The team with the best record in the league would have a positive win percentage at the end of the season.
Adjustable Stop Loss – In the example above, you will be able to adjust the overall loss or win percentage in your parlay depending on the combination of the Patriots and Broncos’ overall records. The teams’ combined regular season records will be determined by the spread between the Patriots and Broncos (4 points). For example, if you are betting the Patriots to win the Super Bowl you will not want the Broncos to win the Super Bowl, but if you are betting the Broncos to win the Super Bowl you will want the Patriots to win the Super Bowl.
MVP – In the example above, the top individual performer of the Patriots and Broncos will be considered the MVP of the Super Bowl. Since the Patriots and Broncos will be the highest scoring teams this season, you can bet on the team with the highest scoring player and see how this plays out.
